International
Our package for International licences offers less support and 'Head Office' functions than the others, and is simply a licence to use our brands in an overseas city or country.
You may already have a security company, or perhaps have plans to launch another in your area, and you will be confident about the rules and regulations relating to this type of work in your country.
The package is only available outside of the UK.
We provide the branding and Website, and we are happy to show you how we operate in the UK. Of course, things will be different in your country, and we do not offer to research your market for you.
- You can choose to operate as 'Chamberlains Security' or 'PatrolGuard'
- You must take responsibility for Company and Security law in your chosen area
- You will run your operation according to local needs and practice
- You will pay the costs of translation of documents or training, if required
- We will show you how we get new customers, but you can operate how you like
- We will give you our forms and processes which you are welcome to adapt to your region
Security Training
We will not train you in 'How to be a Security Officer'... but we can arrange for you to attend a UK training course (at extra cost) if you would like to supplement your knowledge in this area. We will go through our processes in detail so that you have a working model to adapt if you wish.
Marketing
We will give you our marketing leaflets, warning boards and print items in pdf and Photoshop format, which you are welcome to edit, reword or change as you see fit for local printing. We will include a page on our website, and help you to acquire a local domain name so that you can advertise an address in your region that points straight to your page. We will give you design files for the car graphics, again for local printing, and a small supply of relevant uniform that you can order from the UK in future, if required, or copy and produce locally.
Marketing Training
On your visit to the UK, we can arrange for you to attend a superb training course in business marketing and selling. The course is aimed at 'small business owners' and is held every month over two days in a hotel in The Midlands. It is run by a specialist company, and costs about £1500, but we can promise you that it will be worth it! If you would like to know more, send us an email from the 'contact' page.
Monthly 'Booster'
Whilst it may be a long way to travel, all Licencees are invited to our monthly 'Booster' session, where we discuss issues, performance, sales techniques and successes. Hints and tips are exchanged and National or Regional customers are identified for possible marketing in other areas. We would be delighted to see you at one of the meetings, and will expect a small talk from you on your progress in your area! The event is held in Leamington Spa and includes at least one useful training session. Lunch and refreshments provided.
The Costs
You can buy the Licence for an entire country, or just one city. There is a one-off Licence fee, then an annual maintenance fee:
City Licence: £2,000, Country Licence: £5,000
Licence includes:
- Three days training in our methods, processes and systems (but not hotel or travel costs)
- A selection of branded uniform
- Design files for vehicle branding
- Computer files of our cards, postcards and leaflets, warning boards, stickers and mini-cards for local printing
- Inclusion on website and email address
- Stationery pack of letterheads, business cards and a print file for future
The ongoing Management fee is £500 per year, and includes maintenance and updating of website.
Targets, Expectations
We have no financial interest in your operation and will not set expectations or targets. We do not require to see your results or accounts, but are happy to take interest and offer support and guidance, on a casual basis.
