The Franchise / Licence:


This Licence scheme is designed to be much cheaper to buy than a typical franchise, with no capital needed to pay guard wages. It has a clear and proven sales plan, with simple activity mapped out to get new business. Above all, it provides a way for people in the Security Industry to run their own operation, with the help and support of a bigger company behind them, but still earn them a living wage whilst building their business.

- This is a low-cost, easy start franchise / licence scheme

- There will be no 'security' training, it is only available to SIA licensed officers

- There are no expensive brochures or exhibitions to sell the franchise

- There is no 'Franchise Department'... just a monthly Open Day


Ultimately we aim for a National Brand, delivering consistent standards through a network of serious, successful Patrolguard regional operations.

Operational Areas:

There are three levels of Licence arrangement, depending on your chosen area of operation:

  • Local is for operations in the Midlands, specifically 'Coventry and Warwickshire'
  • National is for UK operations only (excluding Eire)
  • International covers the rest of the world (including Eire)

Look at the following pages to see what is included at each level, but take note that the level is set by the geographical limits of each. For instance:

  • At the Local level we will accompany you on your sales visits for the first few months, but we can't offer this if you are in Scotland!
  • At International level, you can choose to operate as 'PatrolGuard' or 'Chamberlains Security', but we can't do this in the UK (for contractual reasons)

This gets slightly trickier as you get nearer to our base region... for instance is 'Solihull' Local or National? (We will try to let you choose)
